THE FILLMORE MINNEAPOLIS

February will heat up next year when Grammy Award winner Brandi Carlile kicks off a 3-night Grand Opening celebration Feb 12-14 in our beautiful state-of-the-art 1850-capacity venue! Night one will feature her trio arrangement, night two she brings out a full band and night three will feature her full band plus an XOBC Valentines’ Day EP performance!

Signature Fillmore aesthetics, vintage concert posters and local touches will adorn our 36,000 square foot venue when we open the doors to the newest Fillmore in the country. Known for our hospitality, incredible sight lines and warm environment, The Fillmore Minneapolis will proudly carry on a tradition of welcoming guests and treating them like family for years to come.

Fans are encouraged to come early and stay late and make a night out of any Fillmore experience. Enjoy a meal or light snack from our music hall kitchen and pair it with inventive cocktails and craft beers available throughout the music hall and inside BG’s Lounge, our luxurious sanctuary to take a break from the show.

Looking for a little something more, then head over to Trax Burgers and Bar. This brand new restaurant will open February next door to The Fillmore and is the perfect spot to sit down with friends before the show, before a sports game or just to hang out. Open seven days a week for lunch, dinner and late nights, Trax Burgers and Bar will serve really, really good burgers alongside killer cocktails, a wide selection of craft beer and some of the most decadent ice cream shakes you’ve ever tried.

Interested in a job at The Fillmore or Trax Burgers and Bar? We’ll be hosting a job fair in January but get ahead of the game, click here and search Minneapolis to see available positions you can apply for now!

Venue History
  • BILL GRAHAM’S FILLMORE VISION
THE SAN FRANCISCO CLUB STARTED IT ALL

The original Fillmore is one of this country's most storied venues. Originally opened in 1965, that intimate Fillmore was the epicenter of the American music scene during the 1960s and 70s, promoting the who’s who of iconic musical acts such as Aretha Franklin, Grateful Dead, Miles Davis, Jefferson Airplane, Cream, Santana, The Doors, Janis Joplin; and many, many others which helped it grow into the legend it is today. Minneapolis’s Fillmore pays homage to the original club’s spirit with vintage posters, ornate chandeliers and velvet curtains to create a signature atmosphere that is welcoming for both artist and fans.
